The album will also be released on license by Hellion in Brazil, CD Maximum in Russia and Soundholic in Japan. A U.S. release via Caroline is expected in late February/early March. A brand-new MARDUK song, entitled "Throne of Rats", has been made available for download at this location.
The CD, which was recorded at Endarker studio in Norrköping, Sweden with producer Devo Andersson, will be the band's first release with new singer Mortuus (previously a member of FUNERAL MIST and TRIUMPHATOR under the alias Arioch). A video for "Throne of Rats" was recently produced by director Roger Johansson (THE HAUNTED, IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL) and is being described as "a morbid masterpiece and a tribute to death and war."
